Homepage and health insurance hub redesign

This was a 12 week project to redesign the homepage and the health insurance brochureware pages of Bupa uk.

The process

This was quite a hefty project as there are loads of stakeholders with retail space on the homepage and sometimes it is hard to prioritise what should be on there, it is often a case of who shouts the loudest. We worked to restructure the homepage in a logical but fair way but with the main drive to health insurance.

The health insurance section is also a hugely important section of the site, with the majority of the traffic driven to these pages or the quote and buy journey it is important for them to be clear and concise. There were a lot of pages in the old journey that were shoe horned in for SEO benefit but of no benefit to the user. It was a highly confusing journey with lots of jargon words and not much explanation of the products.

We broke it down and played it back in weekly sessions from wireframes to interactive prototypes with involvement from all areas of the business.
